My first post, and would also like to thank everyone for a very informative forum. I purchased my 2010 Prius last Friday, and thought I would let other know how nicely they are discounting them! The sticker price on mine was $ 25,673.00 not including a $1,895.00 bump sticker. I purchased the vehicle for $22,890.00, and also had them switch out the tires for Michelin tires! So, actually I don't think anyone should pay the bump sticker, and surely I didn't. I actually purchased the vehicle $2,783.00 below the sticker price, and also received my Michelin tires I requested. Personally I couldn't be happier, with the price, and the vehicle itself! Don't let the recall non-sense (media hype) make a decision for you, you make your own decision! Matt
Congrats and that is a good deal or bargain. I got my Prius V for $27,000 and I keep on buying accessories. But the recall is not a non sense the problem has happend to me but I am happy they have fixed it for me so far. We are not here to make decisions for you but to share our knowledge of the car and I am happy to have found this forum, to know that I am not alone when it comes down to problems or other issues I should know about and how to solve them. But hey welcome to the club.
Sounds like you got yourself a very good deal. Congrat. and welcome. Which trim level did you get, IV? Why did you want to switch to Michelin? The OEM Bridgestone Ecopia tires are low resistance tires and can save you gas.
wow. i got mine last thursday and they would not budge on the price. there were two other people in there buying a prius at the same time, same story. "we don't move on the prius price" good deal.
