I know it's probably been seen already way back when the concepts and renderings came out but whoever drew this up should have been given an medal.

This looks so much sexier and nicer than what the III even looks like...what a shame.

    Oh well...perhaps next go-around.

I like it!I like it!!I wish the tail lights on the G3 were Red like this concept car.

I think the clear ones on the G3 are ugly!

I guess to each of their own, I like the 3rd gen looks better more squarish than round. This round look makes it look like the 2nd gen with a face lift.

That has 22's and ultra low profile tires. Not counting that, I like the GIII better.

I like the looks of the G3 but I do wish we had the 17" alloys that come on the V, they do look better. 22's would be a bit over the top.

Just slap some bigger rims on a Gen 2 and you have it.

Agree with hampden that it looks like a Gen 2.5. It has the body of Gen 3 and the nose/tail of Gen 2.

Sooner or later someone will build and mass produce beautiful hybrids that will become classics for their beauty and function. sadly we are not there yet.

The front end is ugly. I have never liked narrow headlights that ride up toward the A pillar. In my little universe, headlamps should be horizontal not vertical.

I agree that it is 2.5. If we slapped on some 20" with a lower offset, we'd get that stance.

You really like this? Then you should go over to Europe and purchase any one of the many 1-box mini-minivans on sale over there because that is what this reminds me of...especially with the high waiste.

Put this side by side with the new Honda Crosstour or the new BMW.

    Oh brother ... too easy.

The first picture is comical. The front and rear wheels are not proportioned, the door sills are too high, the windows too shallow although the roof silhouette is fairly close the Gen3.

The 2nd picture is merely a Gen2 with new lower skirts and larger wheels airbrushed on.

    pffft.

The '10 Prius V looks just fine.

Yeah, but it's not just a matter of taking away two doors. A coupe version would have a more sporty/muscular stance due to other changes in the roofline/body structure. Just compare the difference between the BMW 3-series coupe and sedan and you'll see what I mean.

    2-door sedans :

harder to get in/out of back seats, plus longer door more likely to bash car in a parking lot.

    But they look cool.

    I guess.
