I think it's something to do with Japanese road toll system where they need a pass card. I keep my Toyota Assistance Breakdown card in it. I attach a link that shows where it is. It's just below the wing mirror adjustment switches. You can just see it.

You need to copy the above link and paste it into your web browser as the above link misses the relevant picture out.

I live in QLD and have the leather interior, it's actually not too bad, haven't had any issues with it :p The solar sunroof has actually helped quite a bit when parked under that lethal QLD sun.

Here is a picture from the Japanese model, with the ETC reader/transmitter built in. (I think the big sticker is a showroom thing, but not sure)

I thought it was because gas is so much more expensive in Europe, so they don't want you to forget your credit card! :)

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, as I just joined.

I had noted that one difference between the US and other models (EU and Japan) is the side mirrors with the turn signals.

Just out of curiousity, does anyone know how much it would cost to order a pair of the turn-signal mirrors from Toyota (either in Japan or in Europe)? I would assume it would take calling a Toyota parts store and asking how much it would cost to purchase the side mirrors.

    Thanks in advance!

You can get them here Toyota Prius 2010+ ZVW30 Exterior Accessories :: Sigma Automotive

Use the search and find the thread, someone did it and posted pics and videos of how it looks. Takes a little work but it does look nice.
