This is off-topic, but it is one of my pet peeves. Some words are misused so commonly that their definitions become altered. Decimate is one such word. The word "decimate" literally means to kill one in ten. "Deci" is one-tenth. So if you decimate something, you knock it down by 10%. This is a far cry from "annihilate" or "destroy", which is how most people use the word "decimate". Rant over, climbs down from soap box. Tom

My spouse is deeply monogamous. Therefore, so am I - in practice, anyway, which is acceptable to him. I was being hypothetical. And, I was talking about societal acceptance, not legalities. I have friends that are either in long-term poly families, or who are in 'couple'-hoods that have 'options', shall we say. If it's within the agreement of the people involved, and it's working for them, then I think that's great.
Now, there's flirting or Flirting and also "flirting" but then there's FLIRTING. So is Flirting really so bad?
I like your thinking, infact ... I couldn't live in an open relationship, I don't want to share a woman's affections with another person. I would give all of me and I have and can be and in return I would like the same. Maybe I'm asking too much. I can't be bothered looking back now, but someone said nice guys finish dead last, I thought women like that? Or at least a dead heat.
