I have to ask how you like the ride so far with the lower profile tires and the tanabe springs. I see you're in the LA area so you have the same road issues I do. I'm willing to give a bit of ride comfort but don't want to give up much. I love the stance. Much easier to see with the bigger wheels than it was the guy who did the R&D session with the stock 15's. I really wanted to do the Kenstyle body kit and run on 19's to look just like my avatar. Have decided it's going to be just way too expensive. Considering the 5 Axis kit and either 18's or 19's still. Just want to know how the ride is before I decide. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

to be honest, the springs did not ruin the ride at all. on the highway or the streets you could never tell the car was lowered. the only time i felt the was lowered was on more bumpy roads. when i put the 18's and the lower profile tire it made the car more sensitive to where i drove. if you dont want to give up much comfort your not going to be disappointed with the df210. if you run anything bigger than my setup is going to really hurt your mpg. the only reason i went with a 18" enkei setup is because its a light wt wheel and though i did take a hit with my mpg, i can still manage to get between 45-46 mpg's. so im one happy camper.

Nice, how flush is the stance? any rubbing issues..... I'm looking at a set of 17x7 bbs lm's et 30....... haven't pulled the trigger because I'm afraid it will rub if I go with the df210 springs.

on my 8" wide rim with the et45 and 225, front sits perfectly flush, the rear sits about 10mm in, so i have a 10mm spacer ordered which goes on this friday which should give the rear a perfect fitment. as for your et30 on a 7" wide rim, test fit it to see if it would work. lm's look great on any car!!!!! ohhh no rubbing issues at all

Nice thanks for the advice.... can't wait to see the full shoot, should add the M3 to the mix haha badass. Be awesome to see the contrast between the m3 carbon roof and prius solar roof.

Loving the Rpf1 especially the weight savings... I'm just torn, BBS lm's are great but weigh a little more than I like... Can I ask where u got the springs from? Thanks brandon

how much do the lm's weigh? im sure your prius wont take that much of a hit in your mpg's. the rpf1's weight were one of the main reasons i chose it, besides being a bada$$ wheel. i got the springs from darkside motoring in chatsworth, ca. give them a call if you need springs. heres a pic of the m3 from a recent shoot

    looking good dude

Let me ask you a question....(not to hijack this thread).. In your opinion, will 17's look strange on the 2010 with stock springs/shocks. I'm looking to get black rims on my Blizzard Prius. I've seen a few pics but i'm still not sure what I think.

    thanks

17's will not look wierd, remember 17's come stock on a prius. its a matter of preference on whether you like a dark wheel against a white car. theres someone who has black 17" tc wheels on a blizzard prius and i think it looks pretty good.
