Well said Rae. The other one that seems to get confused is needing people/relationships and codependency.

We need each other. It's just how we are made. The pop Psych movement of the 80's so focused on unhealthy dependency that people are afraid of healthy dependency.

Nah, that's just Pat. He's really an incredibly sweet, considerate, nice guy in person. He's just got this Aussie humor thing going (along with the accent to go with it!!) that can sound weird on occasion.

Except, well, there was the swizzle stick incident... but even then, he wasn't aggressive about it...
