This is Gen3 Prius version of AERO PRIUS YURASTYLE. Jan 15, TOKYO Toyota announced the Prius G Sports - MOONCRAFT YURA STYLE at Tokyo Auto Salon 2010. It is based on 2010 Prius S Turing Selection (Japanese model). The exterior is designed by Takuya Yura, a famous Japanese car designer, but power trains are not modified. This model will be sold as an official Toyota model via Toyota dealers in Japan. Prius G Sports Concept | TOYOTA TOKYO AUTO SALON 2010 Enjoy, Ken@Japan Also, according to AutoCar:
The car sits on suspension lowered by 30mm, and has what Toyota calls sports brakes. It also gets a new aero kit, including a rear wing, rear wheel covers, side skirts, carbonfibre mirrors and underbody aero parts, plus a new rear bumper, twin exhausts and a sports exhaust system. Other kit includes LED daytime running lights and larger alloys. Inside, there's Recaro sports seats, a leather steering wheel, aluminum pedals, a new dashboard and a G-Sports branded gear lever and start button.

Thanks, Ken. I like that the wipers aren't visible from the front. Not sure I like the nose, though, or the side skirts including the rear wheel fairing/cover thingy. What's the rear look like?

But it does look better than that Black Buffalo version someone posted a month ago.

Yeh, that rear wheel thing is so 1960's!

I like the interior with the recaros. I would even like the wheel fairings, but with smaller wheels so they could be more flush.

Do they sell a prius in japan that is lowered like that? I'm curious if the suspension would work on an american prius.

The skirts are ugly, the front is cool, and the rear is really far out. I wonder what the coefficient of drag is compared to the stock gen III Prius?

Too "edgy" for my taste. I am not a fan of the rear skirt as well. I wonder how much it is more aerodynamic than stock.

That is the ugliest hunk of garbage I have ever seen! I say we kill it with fire or nuke from orbit! Its a mutant and must be destroyed! HAHAHA!!!

Seriously, that is beyond ugly and takes a clean looking design and looks like a 2003-2005 Corolla XRS with ridiculous and tacky add on body attatchments. I swear some of these wacko JDM body kits are simply hideous!

Actually with that front end, come to thing of it, it kind of looks like its vacuuming the track of debris and tire marbles. Therefore it may actually serve some purpose, but in any case it still sucks! LOL!

Looks like a Pufferfish from the front. They can sell it in Japan, I don't want it.

I like the inside redesign, but outside is plain ugly.

I think I'd feel like "the future as perceived in 1978" driving that car. That said, my first thought when I saw it was, what was the Cd?

Looks like a Japanese cartoon from the front. Not feeling it. They did a better job with the FT-86 G Sports

I would drive it. It appeals to the younger generation.

If it comes to market, condider their kit for the Gen II.

Cost (plus shipping to the U.S.) appx $1,800.
I like the Gen III front better, and the Gen II kit's rear parts better. Must be my juvinile side. But I'd only go that hog wild if the Cd is better, not just a 'look'.
