I got the Blue Ribbon Metallic also, and also forgot to include it with my Prius III vote. Got mine yesterday. Traded a 2003 Mercedes E320. Took about eight hours to get over it. The MB is like a fine watch, but worried about its long-term reliability, and gas milage, so, I like the Prius, first Toyota for me. Cats and I may go cross-country so hatchback, and fuel economy are improtant. May look at Nissan Leaf next year. Rented Altima Hybrid, and drove the coastal highway in California, liked it, checked out hybrids, and total electrics.
Prius IV + Solar Roof + floor mat package Winter Metallic Grey/Dark Grey About two hours ago (12/22/2009) in Raleigh, NC Wait was a couple weeks, I pulled the car info & VIN # from Toyota's website, brought it in, and said "I want this one." They were able to get the exact car I had pulled. This replaces my original 2001 Silver Prius, purchased in August 2000 (3rd one off the lot at my dealer in MN), and died November 2009. May it RIP...
Prius V w/ AT w/ no other options or accessories, not even floor mats. Sandy Beach Metallic/ Tan Will be shopping PriusChat for all the extras (floor mats, sunshield, navigation shield, mud flaps, bumper guard). Picked it up yesterday December 26 in Weston Maroone Toyota, they went to Pinellas Park to pick up the car. It was one of two Sandy Beach Metallic Vs in Florida. We had to wait two days for delivery. Simple process, fairly quick, good price (much better than in Miami). See Fabio Fleet Manager.
Got a Prius V with Nav in Silver/Ash. It was on the lot so they made me a deal. Wish it had the darker interior but still happy with the car. Quite an improvement from my old Prius G2.
2010 Prius IV Solar Nav pac / Floor mats, Barcelona Red. We bought ours and drove it home on December 26, 2009 Our first Prius and we are in LOVE.
2010 Prius V with ATP in Blue Ribbon Metallic. Should be delivered tomorrow. Purchased the blue side moldings, OEM black rear bumper protector, NAV screen shield, wheel locking nuts, rubber cargo mat and front window sun screen - all from here! Am using the Prius all weather rubber mats from the 2005. Traded our 2005 Prius for the new one. Any advice on the 3M Scotchguard clear bra/paint protector? The 2005 Prius had a lot of paint chips from small rocks hitting the car and I'm wondering if this would help. The price quoted at the dealer to install it was sort of high (around $400) but if it would work, I'd consider it. I DO NOT want to try installing this myself; I tried putting a similar film on my 2002 Thunderbird and the results I got were not very good (appearance wise).
Also got a 2010 Prius II, Blue Ribbon Metallic, dark grey interior, Remote Start, Blu-Logic, Floor/cargo Mats, Cargo cover, rear Applique, will have to get Body Side Moldings aftermarket, dealer said they were unavailible...LOVE the car!
Got the 2010 Prius V w/ NAV, Blizzard Pearl/Misty Gray, (w/ rear bumper appliqué, cargo organizer, floor/cargo mats) on New Years Eve '09 in Sacramento. Dealer also threw in a free cargo net, free first oil change, and will mail us free leather conditioner. We were the very last customer of the year to drive off the lot! We LOVE it!
I got a competitor to the 3M ScotchGuard called VentureShield (VentureTape or Accuquard) toll free 18003431076 for my "other" car, a 2007 Corvette. Had it on for 2 and 1/2 years and no chips at all after 25,000 miles, which includes 6 autocrosses and a whole day at the Sebring FL racetrack following lots of cars at high speeds. It cost $480 installed back then and included wheel wells front bottom quarter panels and the mirrors. Have to look real hard to see it and then you can only see the "edges." One of the best investments I have made. Probably going to put it on the Prius, even though no plans to take the Prius to Sebring.
I just got the package III with cloth seats. But I wanted the solar, so I got the Nav too. I wanted the solar because it gets so darn hot in Idaho in the summer. I am looking forward to coming out to a car that is relatively cool when everyone else will get into a sweltering car. Does anyone know how to turn the back up alarm off?
