Is there a mod that can make your 2nd gernation prius have and or use LED head lights... since they can be as bright as HID...but use a lot less Power draw

HIDs are fairly efficient. You won't save much power by using LEDs, but you will spend a LOT of money to get anything close to the brightness of HIDs. At the current state of LED technology, I don't think this is a cost effective modification.

You can do anything if you have enough time and money. If cost is irrelevant, I will do it for you. I'm going to need $500,000 for the initial feasibility study.

Its irelivent to a cost that is a reasonable cost to the factors of what other lights go for on other cars that consist of having led's

So, is that a yes? I can get started as soon as you wire me the initial $500,000.

I'm betting the cost of switching to LEDs would be less than some owners have spent trying to keep the HIDs running. (ducking) ;)

The problem with switching to LEDs is getting them to fit and be positioned properly in the existing housing. The light emitting part must be in exactly the right position in three axes for the pattern to work. I'm not aware of a housing designed for them for the GII car. Converting a GIII to LEDs would be easy, but not cheap. You'd just buy the GIII LED headlamp housing and bulbs. I don't -think- there is any electronics needed for them, but I could be wrong on that.

I think the issues with removing heat from hi power LEDs would be another problem, but I'm not elaborating any further until he wires the initial $500,000 payment.

I don't think tf currently has HID's (though has hasn't told us one way or the other).

Edit: Or does "Package: G Touring w/ Leather" imply HID's?

And which other cars would those be?

Knowing of none, that leaves no existing 'reasonable cost' to use as a guideline.
