Wow, you guys have been busy while I was away! Several thoughts, reading through this thread -- If I had chosen to do so, i could have had 'company' overnights while I was in Detroit with 40 other Prius chatters - and I could have been a little picky about whom... and I'm a rather curvy, older woman (not my own zip code, but I do have my own plus-4 numbers *wink*). It's not appearance, it's attitude. It's not appearance, it's attitude (yes, I repeated that. It is worth repeating). As far as online dating... I did that during my single years. I tried match.com, and met/dated a good half-dozen men, only two of which turned out to be married - one was honest about it, one lied - and all of whom were datable, though not guys that I wanted more than one or two dates with. I met my DH online, on a chat site... we chatted about our lives. We both were going through our divorces, then dating other people, and we were 'just friends'... and two years into this friendship, we realized that we were actually measuring all our other dates against each other. Decided that instead of settling for someone that almost measured up, we should just admit that we loved each other, and wouldn't be happy with anyone else! We've been married for over 10 years now - completely remodeled our house, and raised his 4 teens together (my two were already grown), and they are all (nearly) out on their own. We are still madly in love, and often embarrass the kids If you are just looking for dates, you'll find them, but a relationship needs to be built on honesty, shared interests, and true mutual respect. Swallowing helps, too

As I've tried to patiently explain, I was in the midst of a major promotion, and it would have completely derailed it had I disappeared for a few days during that critical transition Do you frequently attend conferences and symposiums? Who knows, might happen yet ....
I don't think Jimmie is all that old. (correct me if I'm wrong) I like all shapes and sizes but like Rene' said, it's about personality not body type. (Rene', you're lovely.) I will admit that all else being equal I am more attracted to a slim built woman, I have plenty of padding of my own. As far as swallowing goes, I wouldn't be so bold as to ask up front but it can really help keep the relationship going. Personally I'd rather hook up with a woman who doesn't .... yet! My idea of the perfect woman is, great to talk with, a prude in public, a sl*t in my bedroom, and, well that's it really. Never tried on line dating, it wasn't around when I was last single 30 years ago and I'm not looking currently. I'll keep it in mind if I find the need.
In the near future, we can expect to see one of these pictures of her with the caption "YOU LIE" in bright green on it!
